Oak Framed Annexe near Presteigne, Powys

This one bedroom oak framed Granny Annexe is located near Presteigne in Powys. The design is based around an adaptation of Radnor Oak's 4 bay 'Walton' oak building.

This annexe provides ample living space for two people and includes a double bedroom, a shower room with basin and wc, a fitted kitchen (which includes floor and wall units, fridge, cooker and washing machine), a large open plan living room/diner with fantastic views across the garden, and a beautiful oak porch to offer the main entrance protection from the weather. We created a 'built in' cupboard for shoes and 'bits n bobs', and even designed a secret storage space in the roof space for suitcases and those items which only surface from time to time!

The oak frame includes exposed features such as trusses, purlins, tie beams and knee braces. Oak floorboards offer warmth and character, whilst oak doors and oak windows complement the building perfectly, whether oiled or painted.
