Do I Need Planning Permission?
Erecting a new building which is less than 4m in total height; such as our Stapleton, Kinsham, Walton, Lucton, Byton Low Ridge, Gazebos and Pavilions, may not require planning permission if other permitted development criteria is met.
Erecting new buildings which are higher than 4m in total height will generally require planning permission.
Replacing an existing building may not require planning permission however it is advisable to check with the local authority.
Listed property, AONB, National Parks, The Broads
If a property is listed, is in a Conservation Area, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a National Park or the Broads erecting a new building may require planning permission.
