The Brampton is a storey and a half ‘barn style’ oak framed building. As you enter the first floor, you walk into the heart of a traditional oak frame. Exposed sling brace oak trusses naturally create bays within the open plan first floor, each bay being large enough for a bedroom, bathroom, office, studio or storage room. Oak purlins running the full length of the roof over the trusses add a little more character, as if it's needed!
The first-floor is supported by impressive, deep oak beams to avoid internal supporting posts on the ground floor. Generous bays allow for large vehicles and a multitude of potential uses.
The versatile upper floor of The Brampton is perfect for a home office, an annexe, a garden cottage, guest accommodation, staff accommodation, a yoga studio, an art studio, a photography studio, a therapist's clinic to name but a few. The ground floor is at home being part of a garden cottage, or for outbuilding purposes such as secure garaging, carports, workshops, tool store, machinery stores, stable and tack rooms........or a mix of them all.

As The Brampton is over 4m you will require planning permission. Radnor Oak can supply planning drawings for a small fee (refundable when an order is placed for that building).
Incorporating all of our trademark signatures; a traditionally jointed green oak frame with substantial framing timbers and knee braces, heavy duty ancillary framing components and our own concealed weatherproofing system. The roof structure includes impressive oak trusses and purlins, all exposed to the interior.
